Feb 27. 1978

I thought I would be scared to face Wayne but it wasn't hard. He's steamed up at denise. Andrea talked to him 2nd hr. & she said he said he enjoyed it friday. he said hes going o give up on denise. He was at my locker alot. he cept tickling me I got mad at him. At noon I & wayne were sitting in the gym and talking Lorie and Elaine came up. I think he was uncomfortable cause he left. After 6th hr. Wayne was talking to me and kevin came by and goes "Hey Tish" (flirting) Wayne ran over to him & said you can't have her, she's mine! Went to the mall & out to eat.

Feb 26, 1978

Went to M, boro for chur, after I went horseback ridding i wanted to ride to Waynes but Babe wouldn't move fast enough. All I can think about is Wayne & Friday. Went to Gayes for her party after a while 97:00) we went home. Dad came home during Gayes party Kevin B. called and we talked for a while then he and Terrie came over and watched Live & Let die (James Bond) it was a good movie. I sat by Kevin & we talked almost the whole show. They left at 10:15 I had to take a late shower.

Feb 25, 1978

Lorie got merried today, it was pretty. I went to the dance, and I saw Wayne. I went over to see Sherry's outfit and Wayne was sitting next to her. he said "hi beautiful" I didn't say nothing. after a couple of dances I went to the bathroom and I met Wayne in the hall. he was in a tux, I said "Why don't you dance?" he said "I don't want to" I smiled at him my prettiest and walked toward the bathroom. Right in front of the bathroom is where he kissed me. I looked at it and it gave me a shiver. Cindy got Queen, I saw Pike dance he's pretty good. Aurther asked me to dance, (fast) he's to stiff. I wore the dress I wore to home coming and I had my hair parted on the side and a feather with it curled. I sorta moved in frount of Wayne while I was dancing (he was sitting down) I danced my best & when I looked at him he was watching me. When I got home it was 10:30 mom made some pizza & I went straight to bed. (I wore mom's boots & my feet are killing me)

OMG THE DRAMA - "I looked at it and it made me shiver" seriously??? - "I danced my best" I know I wasn't ready any crappy romances - there was no Lifetime channel...where did I get this melodrama crap?!?!?

Has anyone ever seen the movie Cousins? Just a Touch of Infidelity - sweet film - anyway - There is a scene - they are at a wedding and the girlfriend (Tish - yes Tish in the movie) is dancing and trying to make her man jealous - that is what I think of when I read this - makes me puke

Feb 24, 1978

Sweethart Dance is tomorrow. All day people were working in the gym. I helped 3, 5, & 7 hr. At noon I told wayne I was ready he said 'now?" (sorta joking) after school I helped him put up streamers he called me sweetie (I liked it) After everyone was done I was going down stairs & Wayne caught up with me he tried to call his mom but no o ne answered. He walked over & said "is it still time" I said I don't know. Well before I knew it he had his arms around me and I was scared ot death but I went on threw with it. I loved it. He dose it like inthe movies he turns his head & moves his mouth but best of all no tounge!!!! After the first one he said you always thought you would flub up well you didn't ( I just stood there) he moved in again and this time I got more involved I put my arms around him and sotra followed his examples the best of all he hugged me. Its just like a dream. Then he tryed to call home again no one answered I told him I had better go home. he said okay and grabbed me and kissed me a couple shorties I said thanks he said well what are friends for. Then we parted I want him to be right here beside me. I want to kiss him all night. I got home at about 3:30 (school got out at 2:00) I hoped mom wouldn't think a change in me she didn't I'm glad. went to normans and shoveled saw dust and went horse back riding and baby sitted andrea

Authors note

This was not my first kiss, but Wayne was my "first kiss". My first kiss was Harold Johnson in 1st grade. I remember it like it was yesterday. It was a cold day out and recess was inside. we were playing under the desks like they were forts, and he gave me a peck on the lips. I was Harolds until my Freshman year (he never knew it) Then he moved :(.

Now in 8th grade my second kiss, there was a going away party for John V (dont' know how to spell his last name) A bunch of us went to Pizza Hut. I remember, Denise, Lisa, Johnna, Sheri and John, I am sure there were more. Someone was driving us home, and someone got the idea we all needed to kiss John good bye. Well there was John in the back seat with all us girls, he was well ready to join in . So we all took turns giving him a kiss. Some were long grown up sexy kisses, some were short and sweet - then it was my turn. I was just going to give him a peck on the lips, and lo and behold HERE COMES HIS TONGUE!!! OMG!! I was horrified - I smacked him and screamed EEWWW!!! WHAT WAS THAT!!!! he said "My tongue, it is a French Kiss" I said "Gross! dont' ever do that again!"

I talked to wayne 2nd hr. I wanted to talk to him at noon but he was flirting around with Lana. I got a letter from him he said he liked to flirt but he liked to flirt with me the most.

Feb 22, 1978

Went to school boy I was glad to see Wayne. its snowing. He had so many oppertunites to kiss me but I guess he didn't want to scar me anymore. I talked to him and I had fun. We wresseld most of noon hr. I wrote him 2 notes. I think I'll be just friends and thats it. Andrea got a call from David Bates. kevin grabbed me in the hall and pushed me up against the wall and kept getting closer and closer. I told him to stop he said "what?" he doesn't understand like wayne.

I didn't go to school again. Toog called he got a job. called Andrea after school Wayne wrote me a note but I never got it. Andrea almost had him talked into coming over at noon.
